Workshop Title: Small-sided games monitoring during football training - A behavioral approach
Workshop Abstract: The use of small-sided and conditioned games in football training is a common strategy adopted by coaches to enhance players' performance. Parallel to their physical development, these practice tasks promote also specific technical requirements and adaptive tactical behaviors. Based on the established theoretical framework of the constraints-led approach, this workshop will address how the manipulation of key task constraints in small-sided and conditioned games might facilitate the acquisition of different physical, technical and tactical behaviors. Moreover, players' performance will be monitored using "bird’s eye" view and individual GPS tracking to provide real-time objective feedback using augmented information techniques.
